In New York, he has lit numerous galas and concerts featuring stars such as Lauren Bacall, Betty Buckley, Chita Rivera, Victor Garber, Judy Kaye, Dorothy Loudon, Eva Gabor, Ann Reinking, Gwen Verdon, Art Garfunkel, Burl Ives, Bebe Neuwirth, Jason Robards, Beverly Sills, Lynn Redgrave, Pete Seeger, and Peter, Paul, and Mary. Architectural lighting supervisor for KB Associates, Inc.: Over 40 projects in New York, Japan, and other popular tourist destinations, including Tavern on the Green, King Xmhu, Aba Daba Disco, Journey to Atlantis, and Gladstone’s at Universal Citywalk. Two years as a lighting supervisor for the U.S. tour of Riverdance. From 1979-1984, he and his partner Campbell Baird ran Triangle Scenic Artists, a scene painting shop whose clients included the Kennedy Cener, Michigan Opera, Lake George Opera, Spoleto Festival USA, and the Manhattan School of Music. Author of Lightwright, the award-winning industry standard software for theatrical lighting designers and electricians around the world.
