LDI 2017

Evan Friedman is originally from Los Angeles and an alumni from the CalArts Technical Direction program. He is currently working at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles, as the Associate Technical Director. Before he was with the Geffen Playhouse, he worked in different capacities in the stunt rigging industry and the specialty rigging industry. From a young age, he always had a passion for automation, overhead rigging and the engineering that went into accomplishing these amazing feats. He is so happy that he now gets to live his dream.
