Chris Kortum has been the head of lighting and projection at Cirque du Soleil’s KA since 2003. Previously, from 1994-2003, he served as head of lighting for EFX at the MGM Grand. He holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree from University of California San Diego and a BA in theatre from California State University-Dominguez Hills.
