Mr. Irwin received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Television/Radio at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and began his video career as an intern in the newsroom at KNBC in Burbank, California. Marcus’ early experience included the Home Shopping Club working as a Master Control Operator, Cameraman, Editing Assistant, and with the ENG crew. He worked at Audio Visual Headquarters (AVHQ) as a Video Engineering/Projection/Video Playback Technician. Responsible for the set up and operation of live event video systems, Marcus worked on countless live events, with many of the industries premier producers and directors. As an independent contractor, Marcus was an accomplished video director, technical director, systems designer, and engineer. His 10+ years in the freelance market found him on numerous Corporate, Broadcast, and Live Event projects such as Fox Sports West (international soccer), Sony Consumer Entertainment, Bugs on Broadway, Microsoft events, Auto Shows, Tradeshows, product launches, and meetings. Since joining SenovvA in 2008, Mr Irwin is currently a Senior Producer. His clients have included; NBC Special Events (Infronts), DreamWorks, Ellen DeGeneres (50th Birthday party, Las Vegas Comedy Show, Ellen’s Really Big Show, and Ellen’s Even Bigger Really Big Show), the MTV Movie Awards After Party, PLAY! A Videogame Symphony (World Tour), E3 for Sony, TCA Press Tour system design , and video director for the Dali Lama Project, AMGEN Canada, Leo Pharma and Producer of the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Night. Marcus’ most recent projects have been the Time Warner Cable Studios Superbowl Activation in New York City, MacDonalds 365 celebration in New Orleans, the 2014 Emmys Media Center, and lead Producer on the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Viewing Party
