LDI 2017

Stan Kaye heads the graduate lighting design program at the University of Florida and is principal of SKDesign and Consulting LLC, a theatrical consultancy serving the southeast. Trained as a theatrical designer, he has expanded his expertise to architectural and museum gallery lighting. Kaye was a research fellow at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the Renwick Gallery in Washington DC in 2015-16 restoring and modernizing the David Hockney installation "Snails Space, with Vari-lites: Painting as Performance" (http://americanart.si.edu/collections/search/artwork/?id=71863).
