LDI 2017

Federico is a robotics engineer and drone choreographer at Verity Studios, an ETH Zurich spinoff company that has established itself as a reliable, world-leading provider of indoor drone shows. He studied at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, where he completed is PhD in 2015 under the supervision of Prof. Raffaello D’Andrea at the Institute for Dynamic Systems and Control. His academic work features a 8 meter long rope bridge built by drones, physical human-quadrocopter interaction, and coordinated multi-vehicle flight. He also worked on the Flight Assembled Architecture installation, a 6-meter tall tower built by quadrocopters out of 1500 foam modules.
