David Fox is a training and documentation specialist at ETC, where he develops curriculum, provides training, and administrates their online learning. Having gotten his start running lights for a Sinatra impersonator in the back of a Chinese restaurant, David has been working in production for more years than he cares to admit, but few enough that he can still lose a “I’ve-been-doing-theater-since ___” competition. Prior to his current role at ETC, he managed their Technical Support and Customer Service departments. In his deep dark past, he worked at Angstrom Stage Lighting managing their service department and was the Master Electrician for UCLA School of Theatre Film and Television. David has worked as a production electrician, house electrician, console programmer, lighting designer, and monitor engineer for a variety of theatres, live concert venues, feature films, and television productions. When not at work, David tries to do as little as possible -- and generally fails at it.
