Vectorworks Training for Technical Production: Advanced
$425 ($525 after 9/14), includes lunch Class limit: 24 /one person per computer (no laptops allowed) This intensive, hands-on seminar provides advanced training in Vectorworks Spotlight for technical production. This is not a class on how to draw a light plot: Don Ward’s half-day light plot tutorial on Friday or Saturday is the perfect follow-up to this course and covers the light plot features in Vectorworks Spotlight. Topics include the 3D modeling tool suite, creating a simple design complete with finished floor plans, a 3D model, and a photo-realistic rendering with lighting and textures. Learn the technique of using the same file for plans and presentations. This class is for those with a solid understanding of Vectorworks or those who have taken the Vectorworks beginner course on Tuesday or Wednesday. Target Audience: Live event and theatrical designers with a solid understanding of basic Vectorworks techniques. Prerequisites: You must know the basics of how to use a computer and you must know the basics of pencil drafting or have taken the Vectorworks beginner course on Tuesday or Wednesday.
