CM Lodestar RTC Motor Technician Certification School
$645 ($745 after 9/14) Class limit: 25 This two-day, hands-on, ETCP-recognized training course covers all aspects of the design and operation of hoists, maintenance needs, inspection requirements and troubleshooting procedures. This course also delves deep into electrical theory and troubleshooting of the popular Lodestar and Prostar hoists. Participants will receive 14 points towards the renewal of their ETCP Certification. Upon passing, participants will also receive a CM-ET certification card and document, both of which are good for five years. To register for this class, individuals must have successfully completed the one-day CM-ET Basic Introduction and Maintenance School within the past three years and work with Lodestar or Prostar hoists on a regular basis. All tools are provided, but personal tools are also welcome. Session highlights: 1) This hands-on, two day, ETCP-recognized training course covers all aspects of the design and operation of a hoist, maintenance needs, inspection requirements and troubleshooting 2) Delves deep into electrical theory and troubleshooting of the popular Lodestar and Prostar hoists. 3) Upon passing a final exam, participants receive a CM-ET certification card and documents, which are good for five years. 4) Participants will also receive 12 points towards the renewal of the ETCP certification for Theatre Rigging or Electrical. Target audience: This course is not for riggers who are new to the business but seasoned veterans. Having completed a basic introduction school or our online course is recommended prior to enrolling in our RTC certification course.
