For Theatre Projects, Dawn was project manager for two of the largest water based permanent shows -- House of Dancing Water in Macau and the Han Theatre in mainland China. An accomplished and award-winning theatrical lighting designer, Dawn has been associated with Theatre Projects since 1989. Dawn’s lighting design credits include Broadway (Zoot Suit, co-design for Tango Pasion and associate lighting design for Show Boat and La Cage Aux Folles); and resident lighting designer for New York City Opera (including A Little Night Music, broadcast on PBS’ Live from Lincoln Center). She has designed the lighting for a number of regional theatres including the Guthrie Theater, Mark Taper Forum, Denver Center Theatre Company, South Coast Repertory, Syracuse Stage, Arizona Theatre Company, and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. She has earned two Dramalogue Awards, nominations for a Maharam Design Award, a San Francisco Bay Area Critics’ Award, and a Los Angeles Drama Critics’ Award.
