LDI 2017

A 23 year veteran of Disney, KC has been involved with hundreds of shows, projects, tours, parades, special events, and spectaculars as lighting designer, video designer, technical director, and technician. KC is responsible for leading the team that the designs, implements, and programs entertainment lighting at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Disneyland Park guests have recently seen his work as lighting designer of "Disneyland Forever", "Mickey and the Magical Map", "Fantasy Faire", and the latest version of "Mad T Party". Visitors to the Aulani resort on O'ahu have seen his work in "Starlit Hui". He also regularly conducts the "Technical Theater" workshop as part of the Disney Performing Arts program; where students from around the region participate in a workshop, a show, and a backstage tour. KC also works outside theme parks, where his work has garnered critical acclaim and multiple awards from the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle, the LA Stage Alliance, Backstage Magazine, and StageSceneLA. He has been published in Live Design, Lighting & Sound America, and Stage Directions and is a professional member of the Association of Lighting Designers. He speaks regularly to high-school and college students about careers in entertainment design; and, as a member of the Educational Theatre Association, sits on the state board of the California Thespians.
