LDI 2017

Originally from Rhode Island, Melissa Sparks joined the CD+M Atlanta team as a designer in 2012. Her professional lighting design background includes hospitality venues, museums, science centers, amusement parks, office developments, and retail facilities. With extensive experience providing both design and site supervision services, Sparks is able to skillfully carry a range of projects through from conception to completion. Prior to joining CD+M, Sparks spent seven years as a designer with Abernathy Lighting Design, Inc., refining her knowledge of lighting’s role in the built environment. In addition to being an associate member of the International Association of Lighting Designers, Sparks served as the organization’s 2011 and 2012 New England Chapter Coordinator and is Lighting Certified by the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions.
